I'm back to the blogging world! And I really feel like I haven't been around for a VERY long time! I had lots of fun and crazy adventures in France and Spain (including nerdy me in a French bookstore taking photos of French books on the floor when some man asked me what I was doing on the floor of his bookstore). More on the French bookstore later. I should have a post in the next couple days featuring some YA French Literature! Yes, very fun! :)

And I think that Erin has earned a very well deserved round of applause for holding down the fort and keeping the blog updated regularly with tons of fun posts! She did such a fabulous job! Thank you, Erin!
In other news, it's August now, which is a YAY but also a Whoamygosh, summer is flying by! I hope you all are enjoying your summer and hopefully doing some reading and some relaxing! And we have lots fun posts planned for this month that I'm really excited to share with you guys, so check back soon! :)
I can't believe it's August already! Though it is my favorite month, it also sort of signifies the last stretch of summer!

A while back I was about to spend a month in Paris for work (which was awesome!) and I wanted to brush up on French. I went to a bookstore in San Fran with lots of foreign language books looking for a French author... And walked out with the French Harry Potter translation.
ReplyDeleteOops! It was a lot of fun though. Very cool to see what the translator would do when so many spells and names are plays on words! But now I'm looking forward to learning about authentic French YA!
